We’re Don and Ribka Brodt—husband and wife, proud parents, and the founders of Regal Care. Ventura County is more than where we live—it’s where we’re raising our daughter, building community, and providing care that truly feels like home. After living and traveling around the world, we’ve come to deeply appreciate the warmth, beauty, and close-knit spirit of this place.
That’s why we created Regal: a small-home care model where every senior is seen, heard, and supported—not just supervised. We bring different strengths to the table, but we share one unwavering belief:

OUR STORY:
We didn’t begin our journey in healthcare.
In fact, when we first started looking for a business to invest in, we were searching for more than just a livelihood—we were looking for a way to make a real impact in the community we call home. That moment came when a close friend shared their experience working in a board and care home. They spoke candidly about the industry’s reputation—homes that were understaffed, impersonal, and often just getting by. It was disheartening, but it also sparked something. We knew that older adults, who have contributed so much to their families and communities, deserve better in their later years. They deserve homes where they’re truly known, where dignity and comfort come first, and where care is personal.
That vision became Regal.
Since opening our first home in 2015, we’ve been committed to redefining what small residential care can look like—warm, respectful, and rooted in quality.
